Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain the company's strategic foresight framework, including scenario planning and risk modeling
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling data narratives
- Champion innovation culture by facilitating design thinking workshops and future-state prototyping sessions
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Produce strategic foresight reports and roadmaps that guide R&D investment priorities
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional teams on future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology planning
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Business Strategy, or related field
- Portfolio showcasing successful future-state projects and strategic impact
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business domains
