Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future visions into product roadmaps
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on disruptive tech convergence
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions (AI ethics, quantum algorithms, biotech interfaces)
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in tech evolution
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D planning, or emerging tech analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two disruptive domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or tech innovation journals
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for communicating complex future scenarios
