As a cornerstone of our Innovation Division, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, AI ethicists, and sustainable technology pioneers. Our Austin-based hub offers a dynamic environment where your ideas will directly influence products serving 50M+ users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize 2026 technology trends across AI, biotech, and quantum domains
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technology adoption and market disruption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Produce executive briefings and trend reports influencing $200M+ innovation portfolio
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry think tanks
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating emerging tech trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
