Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision framework, aligning it with global market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Author quarterly trend briefings for board members, translating complex futures into strategic imperatives
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate 2026-ready product concepts
- Establish KPIs for future readiness across all business units
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums (e.g., Davos, Web Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists on horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite executive roles
- Proven track record of publishing future-relevant thought leadership (whitepapers, TED Talks)
- Expertise in technology convergence analysis (AI, biotech, clean energy intersections)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, WFS) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio of successful future-strategy implementations
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and socioeconomic disruptors
