Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology and market foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging opportunities and threats in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and executive briefings on future market trajectories and competitive landscapes
- Architect innovation pipelines that align with long-term organizational objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of forward-thinking across the organization
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members to inform strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation and communication skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology trends, or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrix)
