Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.) to map 3-5 year innovation pathways
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' workshops with engineering/product teams
- Author quarterly foresight reports for investor/board presentations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight ROI
- Represent company at global futurist conferences (Davos, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation consulting or corporate R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (Forbes, HBR, etc.)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience with quantitative trend modeling tools (Gartner, etc.)
- Track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Exceptional communication with technical/non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic foresight projects
