Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex GIS projects and spatial analysis models for transportation planning.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and planners to integrate geospatial data into asset management systems.
- Mentor junior GIS staff and conduct technical training sessions on ArcGIS tools and best practices.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all geodatabase information.
- Develop interactive web maps and visualizations to support public and internal stakeholder decision-making.
- Manage the lifecycle of GIS data, including collection, processing, and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in GIS analysis, preferably within a government or transportation sector.
- Expert proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and ArcGIS Server.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or JavaScript.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Valid Driver’s License required for occasional site visits.
