Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and research to support city policy initiatives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, briefings, and recommendations to city leadership and the public.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline government operations and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing government programs and recommend improvements.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage grant applications and reporting requirements to secure funding for community projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government, public sector, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Indianapolis city ordinances and state government processes is highly desirable.
