Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and research to support the development of city policies, budgets, and strategic plans.
- Prepare complex reports, presentations, and briefings for the City Manager, Council, and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Monitor legislative changes and regulatory updates to ensure compliance and advise leadership on potential impacts.
- Manage grant applications and reporting requirements for federal and state funding opportunities.
- Facilitate public outreach initiatives and coordinate stakeholder engagement meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning, Economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government or public sector analysis, policy development, or program evaluation.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local government structures and municipal budgeting processes is highly desirable.
