Responsibilities
- Analyze complex government data and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership and the public.
- Conduct research on current legislative trends and regulatory changes impacting local government operations.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve departmental efficiency and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and IT, to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Oversee the budget allocation process for assigned projects and monitor expenditure against financial targets.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend evidence-based solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government operations, policy analysis, or public sector administration.
- Proven experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) and government reporting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of Kentucky state government structure and regulations is highly desirable.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate a commitment to the core values of integrity and public service.
