Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex government IT systems and software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal and state government compliance standards, including data privacy and security regulations.
- Conduct thorough system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to maintain 99.9% system uptime.
- Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the delivery of third-party IT projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT analysis, systems engineering, or a related government sector role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Deep understanding of government frameworks (e.g., Federal Information Security Modernization Act - FISMA).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects from conception to deployment.
