Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex government programs and capital improvement projects.
- Conduct comprehensive research and prepare detailed reports on policy implications and budgetary impacts for city stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external contractors, and community stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor program performance metrics and recommend strategic adjustments to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present briefings to senior management and the City Council.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and city ordinances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government project management or public administration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant government software systems.
