Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of critical city infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local stakeholders to align project goals with public policy objectives and community needs.
- Oversee the allocation of resources and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, and status reports for executive leadership.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate progress, address concerns, and drive consensus on complex policy initiatives.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and ethical standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within government operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the public sector or a related government agency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale government contracts or projects.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Salesforce.
- Certification as a PMP or PgMP is a significant plus.
