- Develop compelling case statements, budgets, and supporting narratives
- Manage 15-20 active grant applications simultaneously with strict deadlines
- Cultivate relationships with program officers at key funding institutions
- Maintain accurate grant databases and reporting documentation
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience with $500K+ in secured funding
- Proven track record with federal grants (e.g., SAM.gov, HHS) and private foundations
- Expertise in budget development and indirect cost rate negotiations
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into persuasive narratives
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and grant management software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Portfolio demonstrating successful grant applications required
