Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and compelling narratives aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and success stories
- Manage grant application processes from initial research to final submission
- Maintain accurate grant databases and reporting systems
- Build relationships with funding partners and represent the organization at meetings
- Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and reporting deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, English, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record securing $500,000+ annually in grants
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with nonprofit financial reporting and budgeting
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with CRM and grant management software (e.g., Salesforce, GrantStation)
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
