Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and reports aligned with funder priorities
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and narrative content
- Manage grant application processes from research to submission
- Maintain accurate grant tracking databases and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior staff on best practices in grant development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 5+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record of securing $1M+ in annual grant funding
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with nonprofit financial reporting and budgeting
- Proficiency in CRM and grant management software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Deep understanding of Orlando's philanthropic landscape
