Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and secure grants from federal, state, corporate, and private foundations
- Develop compelling grant proposals with budgets, narratives, and supporting documents
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant compliance reporting and stewardship activities
- Analyze funding trends and opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices
- Collaborate with program teams to design fundable initiatives
- Maintain accurate grant tracking databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years proven grant writing success with $10M+ secured
- Portfolio of 10+ successful grant proposals
- Deep knowledge of Oklahoma funding landscape
- Expertise in federal grant applications (SAM.gov)
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities
- Strong analytical skills for budget development
- Experience with nonprofit financial systems
