Responsibilities
- Research and identify new grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Write, edit, and submit high-impact grant proposals (federal, state, private)
- Develop compelling case statements and program narratives
- Collaborate with program teams to gather data for proposals
- Manage grant reporting and compliance requirements
- Mentor junior grant writers on best practices
- Analyze funding trends and adapt strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ annually in grants
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field
- Familiarity with Columbus nonprofit funding landscape
- Expertise in federal grant applications (SAM.gov)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
