Responsibilities
- Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to private foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop and maintain relationships with funding partners through strategic outreach and reporting
- Analyze program metrics to create data-driven funding narratives and impact reports
- Collaborate with program directors to translate organizational goals into fundable projects
- Manage grant application deadlines and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Identify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational mission and community needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven success securing $500K+ annually
- Portfolio demonstrating successful grant applications for 501(c)(3) organizations
- Expertise in researching federal, state, and private funding opportunities
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail and persuasive storytelling
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, GrantStation)
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Communications, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
