Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect federal systems from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
- Manage and maintain compliance with federal regulations, including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and coordinate with law enforcement.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for government personnel.
- Monitor security systems and analyze logs to detect anomalous activity in real-time.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent security certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security, specifically within the government or defense sector.
- Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent communication skills for writing technical reports and presenting to stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and Agile methodologies.
