Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure solutions to support essential government operations.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve system failures, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards in accordance with federal and state regulations (e.g., FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions that drive operational efficiency.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships and oversee software licensing, upgrades, and maintenance contracts.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior IT staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, architecture, or network administration.
- Proven experience working within a government or large enterprise environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, database management (SQL), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP are a significant plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance.
