Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT solutions for state agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and recommend technical strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal data security regulations and privacy laws.
- Provide high-level technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Conduct feasibility studies, write detailed technical documentation, and create comprehensive system requirements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and communicate project status effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT analysis, system architecture, or software development.
- Proven experience working within a government or large enterprise environment is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and project management methodologies (PMP certification a plus).
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for executive-level reporting.
