Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex software solutions and system architectures to meet organizational goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure strict adherence to state cybersecurity protocols and data privacy regulations.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for mission-critical infrastructure.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in software development, systems analysis, or network administration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- State government experience is preferred but not required.
