Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Develop and enforce IT security protocols to safeguard sensitive state data and prevent cyber threats.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage software licenses and hardware procurement.
- Conduct regular system audits and provide technical guidance to junior IT staff.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience with disaster recovery planning and backup systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
