Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the enterprise network infrastructure across all state facilities.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives and ensure strict compliance with state and federal standards.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of major IT modernization projects.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex system failures.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution architectures.
- Ensure data integrity and implement robust disaster recovery protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration.
- Proven expertise in network architecture, cloud services, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Experience working within a government or large-scale enterprise environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Ohio state IT policies, procurement regulations, and security frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred.
