Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the agency's network infrastructure and hardware systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and deliver innovative IT solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and provide technical training to staff members.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract compliance for IT services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in network administration and system engineering.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to various state facilities.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or PMP are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
