Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of complex enterprise IT systems and databases.
- Analyze system performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities and ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Develop and implement secure data storage and retrieval protocols in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline workflows.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive citizen data.
- Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff and internal government agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration or software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or PMP is highly preferred.
- Experience working within a government or large-scale enterprise environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
