Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of complex IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability for government services.
- Security Compliance: Enforce strict data security protocols and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., FISMA, HIPAA).
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders and department heads.
- Technical Strategy: Develop long-term IT roadmaps aligned with the county's strategic goals and modernization efforts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, project management, or software development.
- Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), database management (SQL), and scripting languages (Python/Java).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal communication skills.
