Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure information technology systems in alignment with federal standards (FISMA). You will act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity protocols and ensure the integrity of agency networks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure network architectures and IT solutions for federal clients.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and software upgrades.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
- Prepare detailed reports on system status, security incidents, and technical findings for leadership review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or civilian sector security roles.
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of FISMA, NIST, and other federal security frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in network security tools and methodologies.
