Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of federal information systems and networks.
- Lead the migration of legacy applications to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement robust cybersecurity protocols to meet federal standards.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal stakeholders and federal agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy software systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and incident response plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Active Public Trust Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) and NIST compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
