Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure for federal agencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (FISMA, NIST) and ITIL best practices.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-priority network and system outages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems.
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential threats.
- Provide technical mentorship and training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration within a federal or defense environment.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and data protection regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
