Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the agency's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and end-user devices.
- Lead the implementation and management of cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Design and deploy scalable software solutions to improve operational efficiency and data management.
- Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues for internal stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party IT service contracts.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and junior analysts.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in IT systems administration, network engineering, or software development.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is mandatory.
- Deep knowledge of federal IT regulations, including the Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
