Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure to support high-availability government services.
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal cybersecurity standards and data privacy regulations.
- Lead the planning and execution of major system upgrades and software deployments.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex hardware and software environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with organizational strategic goals.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential vulnerabilities or outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or a related role.
- Proven experience working in a government, healthcare, or large enterprise environment.
- Certifications such as CCNP, Security+, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-stakes public sector environment.
