Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT systems and software applications.
- Conduct system analysis to identify optimization opportunities and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and vendors, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local government security standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to junior staff members and IT support teams.
- Manage project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and monitoring of IT initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT analysis, systems architecture, or software development.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), and database management systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
