Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles for critical county IT initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations) to ensure alignment
- Manage project budgets exceeding $1M with rigorous financial oversight
- Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies for optimal delivery
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Present project status to executive stakeholders and county commissioners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years IT project management experience with 3+ in government
- PMP or CSM certification required
- Expertise in ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle)
- Proven track record managing complex infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Texas state IT compliance standards
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project and Jira
