Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain the County's local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Ensure strict compliance with data privacy laws and government security standards.
- Provide advanced technical support and training to County staff.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular backups to prevent data loss.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex technical issues and procure new equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Valid CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent professional certification.
- Strong proficiency in network protocols, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
