Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise network infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols
- Lead cloud migration projects (AWS/Azure) for critical county systems
- Develop IT disaster recovery plans with 99.9% uptime requirements
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and new software implementations
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance
- Analyze system performance metrics to optimize IT operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure management
- CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications
- Experience with government IT compliance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Texas driver's license required
