Responsibilities
- Analyze System Vulnerabilities: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify security gaps within federal networks.
- Implement Security Protocols: Design, configure, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data in compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Manage Access Controls: Oversee user authentication, authorization, and account management to prevent unauthorized access.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of cybersecurity incidents, ensuring rapid recovery and continuity of operations.
- Compliance Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership and auditors regarding system security posture and incident trends.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Certifications: Active Security+, CISSP, CEH, or an equivalent DoD 8570 Level III certification.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information systems security, network administration, or IT infrastructure management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and federal cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP).
