Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal clients in compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure) ensuring zero downtime.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to safeguard sensitive data.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and mentorship for junior IT staff and system administrators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT strategies that align with agency goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, security policies, and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or cybersecurity within the federal sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification required; Cisco CCNP or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and ITIL.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
