Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, engineering, and maintenance of complex IT systems and networks within a federal environment.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation initiatives and modernize legacy systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain high security standards.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on best practices for federal IT operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology, with at least 2 years in a federal or government environment.
- Proficiency in network administration, virtualization, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations regarding data privacy and information security.
