Job Overview:
As a Senior IT Specialist, you will oversee network operations, implement advanced cybersecurity measures, and lead technical projects for federal clients. We are looking for a leader who can bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network infrastructures for federal government clients.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical hardware and software issues in real-time.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards (NIST, FISMA) to protect sensitive data.
- Lead technical teams in the deployment of new software and hardware solutions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff members.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Proven experience with federal contracting standards and compliance regulations.
