Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal network infrastructure, ensuring strict compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex federal systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of system configurations, security policies, and incident reports.
- Respond to and resolve critical security incidents with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Assist in the migration and modernization of legacy federal systems to cloud-based architectures.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of direct experience in federal IT environments or similar government contracting roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with SIEM tools, incident response protocols, and vulnerability scanning software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
