Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Integration: Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems that align with federal standards and agency mission requirements.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of IT solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Federal Compliance: Ensure all technical operations adhere to strict regulatory frameworks, including FISMA, NIST, and agency-specific security policies.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for mission-critical applications and networks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with government officials, subject matter experts, and vendors to translate technical needs into actionable solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architectures, security plans, and change logs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in federal IT environments or equivalent complex enterprise IT roles.
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or higher is required for this position.
- Certifications: CISSP, PMP, or equivalent advanced technical certifications are strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Python, and legacy federal systems integration.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
