Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure federal database systems to ensure 100% data integrity and compliance.
- Implement and troubleshoot government-standard software and hardware configurations.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to federal cybersecurity protocols.
- Provide technical support and training to government staff regarding new IT policies and software updates.
- Document technical procedures and maintain detailed logs of all system maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments to optimize IT infrastructure.
- Respond immediately to critical system outages to minimize service disruption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government or public sector IT environments.
- Familiarity with federal security compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Python, and SQL databases.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
