Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the daily operations of server infrastructure, virtualization environments, and network systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity measures, including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and access control protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise software solutions and databases.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Monitor system performance using advanced monitoring tools and generate detailed performance reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and Texas Administrative Code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems administration, network engineering, or IT support.
- Valid certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
