Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement complex IT systems, software, and hardware solutions for federal clients.
- Analyze user needs and translate them into technical requirements for system architecture.
- Ensure system security and compliance with federal standards such as FedRAMP and NIST.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff and support personnel.
- Conduct system performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing federal infrastructure.
- Prepare technical documentation, including system diagrams and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, software development, or IT infrastructure.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
