Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal government staff and citizens during off-peak hours.
- Monitor server infrastructure, network performance, and system logs to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Manage and escalate helpdesk tickets efficiently using ServiceNow and other ticketing systems.
- Perform system backups, patch management, and security updates outside of business hours.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of critical issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent military technical training.
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM) with occasional on-call requirements.
