Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including cloud infrastructure and network security protocols
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive government data and ensure compliance with FISMA standards
- Lead system upgrades and migrations while minimizing operational disruption
- Provide technical support to federal employees and troubleshoot complex IT issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT solutions aligned with federal objectives
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with federal IT policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in IT system administration with federal/government experience preferred
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent cybersecurity credential
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of federal IT security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a regulated environment
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
