Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization infrastructure.
- Implement and monitor robust network security protocols to safeguard sensitive government data.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues.
- Perform system updates, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to federal compliance regulations.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate IT asset inventory.
- Lead small-scale IT projects and mentor junior system administrators.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration within a government or enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper) and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
