Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN and wireless solutions.
- Oversee server maintenance, virtualization environments, and cloud integration initiatives.
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues with minimal downtime.
- Lead IT projects, including system upgrades and migration initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, preferably within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux systems.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for critical system maintenance.
